Of contradictions

Human beings are so full of it. Full of contradictions amongst other things, I mean!

Why do we find it so difficult to deal with others the way we would have liked them to deal with us? Why and when is it that the sense of complete distances sets in between people? Do we stop to think about the distance within ourselves? The distance between our words and actions...

It comes so naturally for us to be micro-critical of other people but how many of us sit down with ourselves and actively think about what WE can do to make others' lives better?? Or about how we are 'actively' causing someone else misery?

I'm going to strive to do just that from today. That's going to go up on my list of 43things :)

Today, I control the steering wheel!
